Thanks for update. Must have been a LONG night! Sending energy.
Jenna, I just finished Barnhert this morning. While listening to Gregory Alan Isakov, no less! Thank you for your writing. I am a college student as of now, but I may have indeed contracted a case of barnheart....! I'll be eagerly reading your blog form now on, over here in the Pacific northwest.
Cheers,
Emily
p.s. good luck with the kiddies!!
Can't wait to hear the news!
Is Frances practiing the Doe Code and making you wait? Hang In There!
I can't wait to hear how it all turns out!
I once hung out for hours with a pregnant doe, but got hungry after hours of no results. Went into the house for a bowl of soup and returned half an hour later to triplets lying in the hay!
Sounds like your doe is keeping the Doe Code of Honor : http://goatsinthegarden.blogspot.com/2009/02/doe-code-of-honor.html
I have been keeping goats for eight years now, and they LOVE to keep you guessing. I've spent whole nights in the barn only to have them kid at nine in the morning. Goats...got to love em'. Looking forward to hearing about your kids.
