It did not take long for the Maine Coon sized hole in my heart to be filled back up. Boghadair, came here this past Samhain. And now Yeti has come to see if Cold Antler will suit him as a new home. He's a three-year-old Maine Coon, and easily twice the size of little Bogh. He's not exactly, um, calendar material. He's a hard luck cat, scraggly as a Disney villain's sidekick. But he is sweet, and has a lot of character. Right now the animals are all a bit suspicious of him, but neither the dogs or Bogh has bothered with him much since he arrived and set up Camp Bathroom. He has a towel to sleep on, a litter box, and food and water and will come out in his own good time.
Yay for Maine Coons! I have 2 boys myself. A 13lb grey and brown tabby Maine, and a brand new 5 lb 5 month old cream and orange baby. Names are Chicken and Nugget respectivley. They are the loves of my life (after my husband)!!

:) you've come a long way with your feline relations! It is so funny how cats always find their people. His middle name should be Imbolc since that's right around the time he showed up!
Enjoy the story of a young writer living in Washington County with her fancy dogs, sheep, lots of chickens, fiber & meat rabbits, geese, ducks, turkeys, a hive and a garden. Expect to hear a lot about mountain music, the civil war, local food, and my friends along the way. It's a big time folks.

Ahh Maine Coons. Half cat, half dog -all fluff or at least that's how it seems with my guy Frank :)
Where did he come from?

How nice that you've been adopted by another cat.
Half cat half dog.....well that explains my Remington, who also has a freakish number of toes. He spends his days herding. . . the dog onto the couch.
Him is bootiful!
Please remind me - what became of your female Maine Coon? Did she move to the barn?
Aww...he's adorable. He looks wistful...
Boy he sure could use a brushing! I bet he would feel much better. That is IF he likes brushing. He looks beautiful.
