Mornin Jenna
I am up in the cold and making a pot of tea. Now I guess I will have to get the starter going for a loaf of bread.
My laptop died over a month ago and I am getting familiar with my new one now. Still can't figure out how to get my bookmarks transferred to my new Mozilla page. Oh well, it will come. So, I just typed you in so I could catch up. As always a great read and even with the downs the ups are so great I just gotta keep reading.
You are really coming along so well. I feel bad about Finn, but you gotta do what you gotta do. I once brought a baby goat home from the feed and seed. He slept in my lap and I bottle fed him and loved on him like he was my baby. I even had him house trained. Then he got bigger and lived outside. One day in sweat pants I went out to love on him and talk to him. He got his horns stuck in my pants leg and I couldn't get them loose. Had to take my pants off outside to get loose. Picture me struggling with this huge goat with horns inbedded in my pants, me struggling to keep his head down so I can get the pants off, him wanting to play and nuzzle and me trying not to land on my ass. So funny. I decided he needed to be with other girls cause I was just not the right female for him. I cried but he went to a good goat farm home with plenty of women to play with. I still think about him and miss him.
His name was John Henry and who would have thought you could come to love a silly goat and he would give so much love and attention in return.
I miss him.
I do love your stories and antics with your animals. Keep them coming. This old lady need a cheering up now and then. Later

Jenna, would love to hear your thoughts on all the suggestions about cutting back. Any comments?? Some were even useful to me. LOL

Oh I think they're great! I am trying my best to use a lot of them, mostly buying used and not spending money I don't have to. Things like making coffee at home instead of buying any, eating in and bringing lunches, and bartering are all things I could do more of. I can't do them all, like sell a vehicle (no way) but I can be smarter about everything I spend and I will start tracking it all.

I thank everyone who suggested!

Watching and planning action is his job. Be glad it isn't your sofa springs.

When my dogs were that age, watching everything usually meant they were cooking up more mischief to get into. Now that they're older, the mischief still happens but not quite as quickly.

He's eating what the other dogs eat, Taste of the Wild dog food. It's got Venison, Bison, and no grains. He's eaten that since he was a pump.
